Is Mother of Mountain jewellery handmade?

Yes. Our sterling silver jewellery is handmade in small batches. Because each piece is made by hand, there may be slight variations from one piece to another. We see these differences as part of the character of the work, making every piece perfectly unique.

What is 925 sterling silver?

925 sterling silver is made from 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. The additional alloy gives the silver greater strength and durability, making it suitable for jewellery.

How do I know my ring size?

How should I care for my silver jewellery?

Sterling silver naturally changes over time and may tarnish with exposure to air, moisture and everyday wear. See our Jewellery Care Guide for our full recommendations.

How long will my order take to ship?

We will endeavour to dispatch your jewellery within one week of your order and will provide shipping details once it has been sent. International shipping is available, although international orders may take longer for us to process and may also take longer in transit.

Can I return my order?

If you are unhappy with your piece, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you would like to return it. You then have a further 14 days to send it back to us. Returned pieces should be sent back in good condition. Once we receive your return, we will process your refund in accordance with our returns policy.

Commissioned, bespoke and personalised pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes. If you have a particular piece in mind for yourself or a loved one, email hello@motherofmountain.com with your idea. We will let you know whether it is something we can make and fit into our production schedule. Commissioned, bespoke and personalised pieces cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
